We went to a breakfast with members of our old ward this year. We had a flag raising ceremony and got to listen to Papa Rick speak on the importance of our flag and our wonderful country. He did such a great job! We also went in side the church and had a pancake breakfast. It was a wonderful way to start our Fourth of July day!

James Graduation Party
We had a graduation for my cousin James a few weeks back. His family came down from Colorado, long drive with four kids! Two of his four kids are the same age as Kacie and Karson so it was nice to see them since we just don't get to that often :)

My first duathalon
I recently ran my first duathalon. "Tri for the Cure" was the name of the duathalon/triathalon and was to benefit the Suzan G. Komen breast cancer foundation. I was sponsored by my father in law, Robert :) Running in a duathalon or triathalon isn't cheap! I didn't do too bad considering I have only had my bike for a month and havn't ridden or owned one since I was 17. I plan on doing more of these throughout the year, they are really fun and I just enjoy the feeling of participating in them.

Kacie's Franch Braid
I know this sounds dumb but I have always wanted to learn to french braid and never could. I finally sat down and watched how to french braid off of u tube and I learned! I am still practicing so needless to say 4 out of the 7 days of the week Kacie has a french braid in her hair!
Girl's Day
Kacie had brought home her behavior chart from school and she had recevied prefect behavior for the whole week. She had been working so hard and had gotten A's on all of her weekly quizes. One day I picked her up from school early, dropped the boys off at my sister's house and Kacie and I had a girls day! We went to the movie's and saw the new Hannah Montana Movie, and of course Kacie loved it! Ok I would be lying if I didn't say I loved it too :) We had a fun day and Kacie felt so special :)
